2 April 2011 With the announcement of the new MTR due in early May, Digital Island has upgraded our high use mobile plan to provide all the calling, texting and mobile data any business power user would expect to use in a given month. DigiSmart Grande includes 1000 minutes, 2000 texts and 1GB of data for the simple price of $159 +gst per month. Users who buy the plan on a 24 month term will get a substantial subsidy to use on their choice of smartphone - enough to take home the extremely well regarded Samsung Galaxy S Android smartphone at no additional cost. The DigiSmart Grande delivers incredible calling value, with each minute to New Zealand landlines or mobile working out at about $0.12 per minute. We have also taken all our customers who were on our old version of this plan (DigiSmart 1000) and moved them onto the new plan where they will benefit from extra included texts and data, and a lower plan cost.
