Move to Fibre & SIP a success for Digital Arena
1 September 2011
In an effort to reduce costs, increase internet bandwidth and simply test the offering of the market before promoting to our customers, Digital Arena made a complete switch to fibre optic internet and SIP trunking back in May of 2011. Digital Island were our partner of choice in our move, this being an easy decision as we have found their level of customer service to be second to none, with Digital Arena often introducing their services and working alongside them in our customer's sites. Results:
While reduced costs were a factor, a major requirement in our need for faster bandwidth was to improve our connectivity performance when providing our customers with immediate remote desktop support. The results have been exceptional, with our remote support team now providing our customers with up to the moment support on desktop or laptop computer, wherever they're based. While remote support is nothing new, doing it over a slow connection just creates a frustrating experience for all. Since the roll out we have project managed both the costing analysis and the installation for a number of our customers. We have continued to partner with Digital Island for this due their professional approach to services. |
