A return to Deloitte Asia-Pacific Fast 500 Tech Index

Digital Island placed for the second consecutive year in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 for Asia Pacific, taking 251st place in 2009, and 89th in 2008.

“Attracting enough customers to attain such fast growth over three years makes a strong statement about the quality of a company’s product and its leadership,” said Ian Thatcher, partner in charge of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific program. "Digital Island has shown the right stuff for growth.”

A record 51 New Zealand companies made the Index this year. Last year, 31 New Zealand-based companies were ranked in the Technology Fast 500, 38 made the cut in 2007, and there were 31 in 2006.

The New Zealand companies included in the Fast 500 are from across the country with 16 based in Auckland, 16 in Wellington, 10 from Canterbury, 6 from Waikato, and 3 from Otago.
