Please note: Like all ADSL based broadband products Diginet is delivered over shared infrastructure, in order to keep the cost of the service to a minimum. This means that the service can be affected by the traffic of other users on the network. If your business is large, has special requirements, or if your Internet access is mission critical, we recommend our Premium Internet Access services.

DigiNet Broadband Features

• A single easy to understand monthly bill, combining phone lines, tolls and internet services.
• Includes five mailboxes with four aliases for each mailbox (i.e. yourname@diginet.co.nz).
• Domain names and web hosting services are available, and we can also provide highly effective anti-virus, spam & content filtering protection.

DigiNet is used by businesses across all industries with up to a dozen office employees, for whom access to the Internet and email is important, but not mission critical to operation of the business. DigiNet is also ideal for use as a backup internet connection.

Pricing notes:

• All prices assume that the customer has their tolls with Digital Island.
• All prices quoted in NZD and exclusive of gst.
• Traffic usage is measured on national and international upload and download.
• Installation takes approximately three working days.
 

Broadband One-Off Set Up Costs
These will include the installation of your new broadband connection; the purchase of your new modem; and the purchase of a splitter/filter for each phonejack. 

DigiNet Broadband Instructions

To receive broadband you will need:

1. A modern PC.
2. ADSL broadband modem/router: customers will require an ADSL modem
   to connect to Digital Island Broadband. Digital Island can supply a
   Dynalink modem configured and ready to use.
3. ADSL splitters/filters to eliminate interference: these will be required for
   each phone jack, and are available from Digital Island for $9.95 + gst each.
4. A new connection/installation.
5. A monthly internet access plan.

Conditions For Transfer Of Existing Accounts:

• Customers who move broadband from Telecom Xtra will be charged the full last month rental regardless of any billing period overlap.
• Customers renting a modem from Telecom must return it and purchase a new modem.
• If customers are in a contract with Telecom, they may be subject to early termination fees.
